SIDNEY SHELDON - BLOODLINE

The novel is about a family firm - Roffe and Sons - an international empire filled with desperate, cash-hungry family members. Sam Roffe, The head of the firm was one of the wealthiest men in the world.  The firm Roffe and Sons is managed by Sam Roffe and his assistant Rhys Williams. But when Sam dies in a mysterious accident, he leaves his only daughter, Elizabeth, in control of the company. Tough and intelligent young woman that she was, Elizabeth Roffe decides to save and not sell the company - against the popular idea. This leads to a bitter struggle and Elizabeth will have to outwit those who secretly want her power including the unknown assassin who wants her life.

One of the most mysterious - well wysteries - of the plot is the nature of the would-be assassin. Every mrember of the family had plausible motives. The family consists of

Anna Roffe, whose husband Walther Gassner married her only because of her bloodline. Walter was highly desperate for the company to be sold.
Simonetta, the wife of a womanizer, Ivo Palazzi who was being blackmailed by his mistress Donatella. Pallazi wants the company sold so he could pay off his mistress.
Helene Roffe, a tough, highly dangerous woman, three times divorced who marries Charles Martel. Martel invests in a vineyard by stealing his wife's jewelry, but his investment goes bankrupt.
Alec Nichols, whose mother was a Roffe. His wife Vivian was gambling-addicted and exercises no vcaution when spending, pushing him into increasing debts.

It is obvious then that every one in the family is in desperate need of money. None the least is the ambitious Rhys Williams. This book is a thriller that will keep youy speculating till the very last page. Follow the tag to read the online series.
